Youth D.R.A.M.A. is a project for young people that aims to:

In one of the phases of the project, which will take place in January for 6 consecutive days in Portugal (Aveiro), we will carry out the following activities:

DAY 1 – M1 Representation, Media Bias & Cultural Competency (by the partner from TURKEY)

-Presentation of the Project, Erasmus+ Programme and Youthpass
-Green practises during training course
-Presentation of participants and sending organisations
-Discussion: sharing cultural backgrounds and experiences working with youth from ethnic minorities
-Teambuilding activity
-Session 1: Understanding Media Bias and Representation
-Session 2: Intercultural Sensitivity and Cultural Self-Awareness
-Session 3: Inclusive Facilitation and Bias Awareness in Youth Work


DAY 2 – M2 Theatre-Based Youth Work Techniques (by the partner from GERMANY)

-Session 1: Theatre-based youth work facilitation techniques to guide youth in practice improvisation and role-plays, Activity: Role-play scenarios involving AI and ethical decision-making, Group discussion and brainstorming on how to establish safe spaces for sensitive topics
-Session 2: Techniques for managing trauma in group settings
-Session 3: Techniques for Community Engagement in local activities, Group Discussion: Challenges in Facilitation, Sharing experiences and solutions.

DAY 3 – M3 Media Literacy and Critical Thinking (by the partner from PORTUGAL)

-Session 1: Hate Speech and Cyberbullying
-Session 2: Building Digital Resilience in Youth Groups
-Session 3: Intervention training


DAY 4 – M4 Theatre-Based Techniques for Storytelling and Conflict Resolution (by the partner from GREECE)

-Session 1: Techniques for using storytelling to empower youth. Understanding and Storytelling The Conflict
-Session 2: Theatre-based strategies for managing conflicts in both online and offline settings. Focus On the Characters to Explore Dynamics, Build Emotional Resilience
-Session 3: How to run theatre-based sessions for young people to explore dynamics, building emotional resilience and practice de-escalation Representation and Observation On Conflict De-Escalation


M5 – Digital storytelling & video creation (by the partner from IRELAND)

-Workshop: Overview of tools and techniques for digital storytelling
-Activity: Participants create a storyboard for a short digital story.
-Workshop: Session on tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere, or AI video generators.
-Activity: Participants work in groups to create a short video on a youth-related topic.
-Discussion: Challenges and ethical concerns regarding teaching youth how to make realistic videos with AI, brainstorm of solutions
-Discussion: How to use digital storytelling to empower youth to create constructive narratives
-Reflection


DAY 6 – M6 Digital Rights Education (by the partner from ROMANIA)

-Session 1: Understanding Digital Rights and Responsibilities
-Session 2: Techniques for organising and leading webinars and workshops.
-Session 3: Digital Rights Scenarios and Ethical Decision-Making
-Feedback and final assessment
-Certificate ceremony
